Auction Results: June 2024
A modern canteen of 44 pieces of silver cutlery, originally bought at Harrods, appealed to a local buyer who paid £1,450 for the set in Michael Bowman's June 1st auction at Chudleigh.
Top price of the day went to the 1970's gent's 18ct gold Rolex Oyster Day/Date wrist watch with original box & paperwork, which also sold to a local bidder for £9.800. Internet bidders took the ladies' 18ct Omega Constellation for £2,200 and stainless steel Rolex Date for £2,100.
A Welsh telephone bidder bought the three stone pink sapphire & diamond ring on offer for £2,500, also going on to buy a Victorian sapphire & diamond bangle for £2,400 and a natural 5 carat Ceylon sapphire & diamond ring for £3,200.
An internet bidder from Berkshire appreciated the quality of an early 20th century platinum bow-tie shaped brooch set with numerous small diamonds and sapphires and was willing to pay a triple estimate £2,600.
